Preservation Idaho is providing a private guided tour of downtown Boise's 150 years of history and architecture. It's free, but there is limited availability. Registration will open in early October and only be available to conference attendees. Details will be emailed to current registrants.
The tour will start at 5:30pm on Tue. Oct. 21st and last for about 1 hour. It will be about a one-mile loop that begins and ends at the Basque Museum and Cultural Center (611 W Grove St) The Basque Museum is only a few block away from the JUMP center. This tour will run 'rain or shine', check the local weather. Learn more about the tours here.
After the walking tour feel free to join NWGIS at The Warehouse Food Hall
If you are in town Tuesday evening you are welcome to join an informal meetup of GIS peers at The Warehouse Food Hall (370 S 8th St). The Warehouse offers a variety of food vendors, a couple bars, and on Tuesdays at 7:00 a Trivia Night. You are on your own for food and drinks, but it's a great indoor venue and close to the JUMP center. More details on the Warehouse are here.
Conference attendees are welcome to stick around JUMP after our first day for a drink and assorted appetizers.
