We try to keep the costs of our conferences as low as possible, so support from sponsors is important to build a financially healthy organization.
Sponsorship allows companies to help students to attend our conference and help build the next generation of GIS professionals. We have to balance the cost of a vendor booth with the cost of sponsorship so that we can maintain a vibrant vendor exhibit hall at the conference. In order to maintain this balance, we have expanded our sponsorship offerings without jeopardizing the vendor exhibit event. Sponsorship is in addition to conference registration or vendor exhibit. Sponsors will still need to register for the conference or as a vendor if they wish to attend the conference or exhibit at the vendor show.
Sponsorship provides opportunities to get special recognition at the conference and year-round on nwgis.org.
- Sponsor four students.
- A full page advertisement in the conference program.
- Recognized as a platinum level sponsor of the NWGIS with your logo on the main NWGIS Web site that is linked to your Web site for one year (graphics provided by sponsor).
- Sponsorship of a plenary session. Includes sponsor recognition on session signs and recognition of the sponsor by the session moderator. It will also include a pre-session projected image if supplied by the sponsor.
- Sponsor two students.
- A quarter page advertisement in the conference program (graphics provided by sponsor).
- Recognized as a gold level sponsor of the NWGIS with your logo on the main NWGIS Web site that is linked to sponsor’s Web site for one year (graphics provided by sponsor).
- Sponsorship of a user-presentation session. Includes sponsor recognition on session signs and recognition of the sponsor by the session moderator. It will also include a pre-session projected image if supplied by the sponsor.
- Sponsor one student.
- A business card sized advertisement in the conference program (graphics provided by sponsor).
- Recognized as a silver level sponsor of the NWGIS with your logo on the main NWGIS Web site that is linked to your Web site for one year (graphics provided by sponsor).
